भाइ! तिम्रो जीवनको उद्देश्य के हो ?


धेरै आफन्तजनहरुले धेरै सोध्ने गरेका प्रश्न– भाइ! तिम्रो जीवनको उद्देश्य के हो  ?

मेरो उत्तर– वास्तवमा जीवन खुद आफैमा एउटा उद्देश्य हो । जीवनको दोस्रो अर्को कुनै लक्ष्य/उद्देश्य छैन । बरु जीवनलाई– सद्विचार, सद्बुद्धि, सत्कर्म, सद्ज्ञान, सद्आचरण, सद्आनन्द र सद्भावसहित जिउनु भने महत्त्वपूर्ण पक्ष हो । जीवन नदीजस्तै हो, कुनै उद्देश्यबिना सतत सलल बगिरहने, बगिरहने । कुनैएउटा फल/फुलको बिरुवाको के उद्देश्य हुन्छ? कस्मिकइनर्जीद्धारा आफै वृद्धि हुन्छ, ठुलो हुन्छ, फुल्छ, फल्छ, झर्छ बास । कुनै उद्देश्य हुन्छ ? 

गौतमबुद्धलाई उतिबेला तपाईँको जीवनको उद्देश्य के हो भनेर कसैले सोधेको भए? के गौतमबुद्धले कुनै उद्देश्य बोकेर हिँडेका थिए ? उद्देश्य भनेको– हाँसिल गर्नु, प्राप्त गर्नु, लिनु हो । गौतमबुद्धले जीवनमा केही लिएनन्, बस दिए मात्र । त्यसैले, जीवन- लिनु हैन, दिनु मात्र हो । कुनै फाईदाजनक उद्देश्य बोक्नु त व्यापार भयो, जीवन त अपार छ । त्यसर्थ, जीवनको एउटै आफ्नै ध्यय भनेको– ध्यान, अध्यान र विज्ञानद्धारा स्वयं आफूले आफैलाई आविष्कार गर्नु हो ।

Humans, in particular, often seek fulfillment through various means such as wealth, power, or physical pleasure. However, it is a common observation that even after attaining these desires, the happiness obtained is often fleeting or unsatisfying. The quest for lasting happiness remains elusive, prompting us to explore deeper and more meaningful avenues to nurture our well-being and discover true and enduring joy. Below, I have presented eleven secret keys to lasting happiness, drawing upon the wisdom gained from my 26 years experience of life.

1. Cultivating inner happiness through living a simple (non-materialistic) life  
In our pursuit of happiness, we often find ourselves trapped in the illusion that external possessions and achievements are the key to our contentment. However, true happiness lies within us, waiting to be discovered through simple living and embracing a non-materialistic lifestyle. By detaching ourselves from the constant desire for more, we free ourselves from the burden of expectations and allow space for genuine joy to flourish. When we prioritize experiences over possessions and focus on gratitude for what we already have, we create the foundation for lasting happiness.

2. Connecting with nature: A path to living blissfully
In our fast-paced, technology-driven world, we have become disconnected from the natural world that surrounds us. Yet, nature has a profound ability to restore and uplift our spirits. By intentionally connecting with nature, whether through walks in the forest, sitting by the ocean,  or simply observing the beauty of a blooming flower, we can find solace and rejuvenation. In the depths of my being, I find myself wandering, feeling a profound sense of being lost. Yet, I realize that this disconnection from the external world was a deliberate choice. It was my intention to detach from the distractions that surround me, to seek solace within. In this stillness, I have embarked on a transformative journey, rediscovering the essence of my true self.

Through the practice of meditation, I have found a path to inner peace and self-realization. Every step I take, every breath I inhale, is infused with mindfulness and intention. I walk in meditation, each footfall a reminder of the present moment and the profound interconnectedness of all things. I sit in meditation, surrendering to the silence within, nurturing a profound connection with my inner self and the universe at large.

Not only has meditation become a practice, but it has permeated every aspect of my life. I have learned to eat in meditation, savoring each bite with gratitude and awareness, recognizing the nourishment it brings to my body and soul. Even in the act of sleep, I find myself embracing a state of meditation, surrendering to the realm of dreams and the restoration it offers.

My purpose now extends beyond the material realm. I yearn to connect with the vastness of Cosmo consciousness, transcending the limitations of the physical world and the chaos of the external environment. In this process of self-discovery, I willingly lose myself to find a deeper meaning, a higher purpose that resonates with the very core of my being.

In this journey of becoming lost, I am actually finding myself. I am rediscovering the eternal wisdom that resides within, guided by the cosmic forces that surround me. It is a beautiful paradox where being lost in the world leads me to find an unbreakable connection to something far greater. And so, with each step, each breath, and each moment of meditation, I continue to embrace this blissful state of being lost, knowing that it is in this surrender that I discover true spiritual awakening.
